General information

Our vision

At our pharmacy, you don't just get medicine. We also find it important that you are well informed about your health and the use of medicines. Therefore, we give independent advice, offer education and guide you in the safe use of your medication. We also pay a lot of attention to the prevention and detection of side effects.

The pharmacy is an important link in health care and directly affects your health and well-being. Therefore, we maintain close contact with general practitioners, specialists, health insurance companies, patient associations and suppliers.

We strive to always provide you with the best possible service.

Medication Monitoring

When we receive a prescription, we don't just give your medication to you. First, we check that you can use the medicine safely. Then we usually explain how to use the medicine. This sometimes takes some extra time, but this way you can be sure that you are using your medication responsibly.

This check is important because some medicines do not mix well with other medicines you are taking. Some medicines can enhance or reduce each other's effects. If necessary, we will contact your doctor to discuss this.

We not only look at your medication use, but also take into account allergies, a possible pregnancy or a desire to have children. Always inform us of any changes.

Do you use medication chronically or are you pregnant? Then we advise you to register over-the-counter medicines with us as well. This is because even these drugs are not always safe to combine with other medications.

First issue of a medicine

Are you prescribed a medicine for the first time? Then we are usually only allowed to give you a 15-day supply. This is a government measure to avoid wasting medicine. It may happen that a medicine does not work sufficiently or causes unpleasant side effects.

Has your doctor prescribed a longer treatment period? If so, you will receive a repeat prescription from us for the remaining amount.

Your medicine in a different package

Sometimes you get medicine that looks different from what you are used to. This usually involves the same medicine from a different manufacturer. These so-called generic drugs are cheaper than brand-name products and help keep healthcare affordable.

A generic drug must meet the same strict requirements as the original brand-name drug and is therefore just as safe and effective.

Does your medicine look different than what you're used to and have questions about it? Feel free to ask one of our staff members.

Your Privacy

In our pharmacy, your privacy is important to us. Therefore, our counters are set up so that conversations can take place confidentially as much as possible. You can also use a separate consulting room if you need more privacy or a quiet conversation. We need this information to verify that your medication is safe to use and to contact you when necessary.

We handle your information with care. We are bound by our professional confidentiality and applicable privacy rules. Only you, your doctor, the pharmacist and authorized pharmacy staff have access to this information.

Health Insurance

For many patients, we bill the cost of medications directly to the health insurer.

Are you switching to another health insurer or getting a new policy number? Please inform us about this. That way we can declare your medication correctly and you avoid unnecessary delays or administrative problems.

Address and insurance information

Change your address or insurance information? Please let us know.

Are you moving to another residence? Then we can make a medication summary of the past year for you. You can take this overview with you to your new general practitioner and pharmacy, so that they immediately have important information about your medication use.

Turn in old medicines

The packaging of your medicines tells you until when they have a shelf life. Do you have medicines that are past their expiration date or that you no longer use? Then hand them in at the pharmacy.

We make sure that the medicines are processed in a safe and environmentally friendly way. Any labels with personal data may be removed from the packaging beforehand.
