Vacancy pharmacy assistant - pharmacy de Graeff

Who are we? Pharmacy de Graeff is a new pharmacy in the health center Medical Center de Graeff in Purmerend Noord. Previously it was Apotheek Overlander. Since March 2021 we are in the new building. In total there are ten different practices in this building that work together to provide the best care to patients.

The team at pharmacy de Graeff consists of two pharmacists, nine assistants, one pharmacy assistant and a delivery person. Together, this friendly and customer-oriented team ensures that all patients are well supervised around the use of medication.

Apotheek de Graeff is part of the independent partnership Zorggroep Laag Holland (ZLH), consisting of pharmacy de Gors, pharmacy de Meeuw, pharmacy Molentocht, pharmacy Monnickendam, pharmacy de Ring and pharmacy Signaal. ZLH is also part owner of the Waterland 24-hour pharmacy. This is an outpatient pharmacy and service pharmacy in the Dijklander hospital in Purmerend.

Within our partnership, pharmacy Signaal provides the Central Fill for all locations of ZLH by means of a Speed Filler.

What do we offer you?

The world of pharmacy is changing at a rapid pace, it is up to us to respond to this and meet the needs of patients. The community pharmacy remains indispensable to patients, but more and more people are also choosing convenience. We help patients physically in the pharmacy, but also through different channels and ways, for example through the medication dispenser, or by using the MedGemak app.

If innovation appeals to you, you could promote the app and website in your way to our patients to encourage them more to use the online service we also provide. In addition, we are open to an innovative view of the pharmaceutical field to further differentiate ourselves and continue to do our work well (remotely) despite developments.

Who are we looking for?

To complete our team, we are looking for a pharmacy assistant. Do you have your degree in pharmacy assistant already or not yet? Would you like to work full-time, or rather part-time? Or does the job of pharmacy assistant appeal to you and would you like to be retrained? Then come by the pharmacy and we can discuss it.

If you are interested in working both in the community pharmacy and in the outpatient pharmacy and/or in the Signaal pharmacy (with the Speed Filler), that is possible. Pharmacy de Graeff will then become your permanent pharmacy and if necessary you can be seconded to the other locations. The shifts in the 24-hour pharmacy are also done by our assistants. If desired, you can sign up to do evening/night/weekend shifts as well. In short: plenty of variety!
