How does it work?
If we have prepared your medication then we will put the medication in the collection vault. If we put it in the safe then you will get a text message or email with a code. You then have 48 hours (2 days) to pick up your medication.
With the code you go to the safe, you then key in the code. Next, the vault asks for your day of birth. This is a 4-digit code according to the format DDMM, June 7 then becomes 0706. This step makes it extra safe and so no one can accidentally enter your code.
If the code is correct you get your package.
If there is a bill with it must first be paid before the vault delivers the package. You can then follow the instructions on the ATM.
Exceptions:
Some products cannot go in the safe.
If you are receiving medication for the first time, we are happy to discuss your medication with you. In principle, we do not put medication in the safe that has not been dispensed before (or more than a year ago).
Also, these products cannot be put in the safe:
- Refrigerator products
- Fragile products
- products that are too large
For these products, we would like to invite you to our counter.
Emergency medication
We recommend that medications needed in an emergency be picked up at the pharmacy in person, or taken from the vault during pharmacy business hours. The vault may have a malfunction or perhaps there is a problem with availability of a drug. In that case, outside of regular business hours, we cannot guarantee that you will get your medication then. We have the machine well maintained and do everything we can to prevent a malfunction, but it is still a risk. No rights can be derived from problems caused by problems with medication in the vault outside our business hours.
