Do you have any leftover medication, or do you no longer need it?
Do not throw away expired medications or those you no longer use with your regular trash. Do not flush them down the sink or toilet either. Medication residues can be harmful to the environment.
Therefore, dispose of medication waste separately. Preferably, remove labels from the packaging or make your personal information unreadable. Dispose of syringes and needles only in accordance with local regulations, preferably in a sealed needle container.
