Who are we?
Meds&Care Pharmacies is an organization consisting of 4 community pharmacies in The Hague (Ypenburg) and Nootdorp. - Apotheek Ypenburg - Apotheek De Reef - Apotheek Veenhage - Apotheek De Bras These are four modern pharmacies, all four pharmacies work paperless via digital prescription in Pharmacom. In addition, Pharmacy Ypenburg, De Reef and De Bras have 24-hour pickup machines.
Our team
You will join a large, diverse and professional team working from four locations. Together we provide the best pharmaceutical care as well as a great working atmosphere every day.
Our team consists of:
- 4 managing pharmacists who take care of the daily management and quality of care,
- 2 AIOS (pharmacists in training to become specialists),
- 25 pharmacy assistants,
- 5 BBL apprentices, 3 of whom are almost finished their training,
- 3 BOL apprentices who are actively learning and collaborating,
- 1 HR lady who has an eye for your development and well-being,
- 2 pharmacologists for support and policy development,
- 1 care manager,
- 7 delivery people who deliver medication safely to patients' homes,
- 4 general support staff,
- 1 administrative assistant who keeps everything running smoothly behind the scenes.
Our strength lies in the collaboration between experienced colleagues and young talents, and in the personal atmosphere we maintain despite the size of our team.
What should you know about our location?
Apotheken Ypenburg, De Reef and Veenhage are located in a health center. Pharmacy de Bras is located in the Ypenburg neighborhood and focuses mainly on compounding.

What do we stand for?
We believe it is important to make time for our patients at the counter, so that you can provide good pharmaceutical care. Delivering good quality care to our patients is our number one priority, therefore all pharmacies are HKZ certified. We do not outsource all work to external organizations, this makes your work in the pharmacy still very varied.
What makes us unique?
We prepare medications at both patient level, and stock level, think: ointments, creams, capsules, potions, suppositories, but also sterile preparations. Would you like to pick this up again or have you never done it before, but do you find it challenging to learn? Then you've come to the right place, our preparation team can always use reinforcement!
What do we expect from you?
You hold a pharmacy assistant(s) degree. You are patient oriented, accurate and have good communication skills. You like working in a team and enjoy thinking about improvements. You are available at least 3 days a week.
