Warning: Fake emails sent in the name of BENU —> DO NOT CLICK ON ANYTHING
Scammers are currently sending out fake emails. These emails appear to come from the BENU pharmacy chain. If you receive an email like this, do not click on anything—not links, not buttons, and do not open any attachments. Delete the email immediately.
Our pharmacy is not part of BENU
Our pharmacy is affiliated with Netwerk Apotheken. We are therefore not a BENU pharmacy. Nevertheless, we want to warn you. You, too, could receive such a fraudulent email, because scammers send these messages to a large number of people at once.
We also do not send you emails with links that ask you to log in or pay immediately. If you’re unsure about a message that appears to be from us, do not click on the links. Call or send a message to our pharmacy to verify it.
Most important rule: DO NOT CLICK
Never click on links or buttons in an email if:
- You weren’t expecting the message.
- You’re told to do something quickly, such as logging in or making a payment.
- You’re asked for personal information or banking details.
- The sender’s email address looks strange.
- You’re not sure if the message is real.
What should you do if you receive a suspicious email?
- Don’t click on anything. Not on links, not on buttons, not on images.
- Do not open any attachments.
- Do not enter any information.
- Delete the email immediately.
Did you click on a link or enter any information anyway?
- Did you enter your bank information? Call your bank immediately.
- Did you enter other information? If so, change your password immediately.
- Scan your computer or phone with an antivirus program.
- Report the fraudulent email to the Fraud Help Desk at www.fraudehelpdesk.nl. This way, you’ll help others, too.

Jansen Pharmacy is expanding to include a drugstore section
Coevorden – Martin Daniels is also moving into the new Apotheek Jansen location at 13 Bentheimerstraat as a drugstore owner. “I’ll be starting there around October 1,” says Daniels.
“I’m an entrepreneur at heart,” says Daniels. He previously spent about ten years visiting stores in the Achterhoek region and served as a regional manager for brands such as Natterman and Tijgerbalsem. In that role, he already visited the northern part of the country regularly. Daniels sold his last store in Gorssel and has now made the move to Coevorden, where he now lives as well.
“Apotheek Jansen will feature a section with drugstore items, including dietary supplements. I’m excited to add something new to the pharmacy, and I’m confident this combination will be a hit. I’m really looking forward to it,” says Daniels enthusiastically. The section is open Monday through Friday and also on Saturday mornings from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. The hours may be extended if there is a need.
