Why do I sometimes have to pay extra at the counter?

Your health insurance company determines which drugs are reimbursed. That means you sometimes have to pay extra. The pharmacy is required to follow your health insurer's policy.

What does the preference policy mean?

Can I ask for a different brand than I get from the pharmacy?
