Warning: Fake emails sent in the name of BENU —> DO NOT CLICK ON ANYTHING

Scammers are currently sending out fake emails. These emails appear to come from the BENU pharmacy chain. If you receive an email like this, do not click on anything—not links, not buttons, and do not open any attachments. Delete the email immediately.

Our pharmacy is not part of BENU

Our pharmacy is affiliated with Netwerk Apotheken. So we are not a BENU pharmacy. Nevertheless, we want to warn you. You, too, could receive such a fake email, because scammers send these messages to a large number of people at once.

We also do not send you emails with links that ask you to log in or pay immediately. If you’re unsure about a message that appears to be from us, do not click on the links. Call or send a message to our pharmacy to verify it.

Most important rule: DO NOT CLICK

Never click on links or buttons in an email if:

  • You weren’t expecting the message.
  • You’re urged to take immediate action, such as logging in or making a payment.
  • You’re asked for personal information or banking details.
  • The sender’s email address looks strange.
  • You’re not sure if the message is real.

What should you do if you receive a suspicious email?

  1. Don’t click on anything. Not on links, not on buttons, not on images.
  2. Do not open any attachments.
  3. Do not enter any information.
  4. Delete the email immediately.

Did you click on the link or enter any information anyway?

  1. Did you enter your banking information? Call your bank immediately.
  2. Did you enter other information? Then change your password immediately.
  3. Scan your computer or phone with an antivirus program.
  4. Report the fraudulent email to the Fraud Help Desk at www.fraudehelpdesk.nl. This way, you’ll be helping others, too.

Do you have any questions?

Not sure about an email? Don’t click on it. Contact our pharmacy. We’re happy to help.

Over ons

Pegasus Pharmacy, formerly known as Apotheek van der Ploeg, was founded in 1938 by Miss van der Ploeg and was located on Tooropstraat at the time. In 2012, the pharmacy moved, along with the general practitioners Meyerink, Herberts, and van Dam, to a modern new building on Dommer van Poldersveldtweg,

corner of Tooropstraat. At that time, it was decided to adopt a shared name in collaboration with the general practitioners. The name Pegasus refers to the Hengstdal neighborhood, named after the horse on Berg en Dalseweg. The team consists of experienced pharmacists and assistants. In addition, Pegasus is a certified training provider.
