Our Team
Our pharmacy employs pharmacists, pharmacy technicians, pharmacy assistants, and interns.
Pharmacists have completed a six-year university program. One pharmacist works at De Gors Pharmacy. His or her role is to ensure the quality of the care provided by the pharmacy. This means that he or she primarily advises prescribers, patients, and pharmacy technicians. After all, the pharmacy technicians handle a large portion of the work involving direct contact with you, the patient. The training program to become a pharmacy technician is an MBO program and lasts three years. De Gors Pharmacy employs 10 pharmacy technicians and 1 pharmacy assistant.
Only pharmacy technicians and pharmacists have the knowledge to assist you independently. They must continue their education on an ongoing basis to keep their knowledge up to date. Because it is important to ensure there remains a sufficient number of trained staff in the future, we consider it a key responsibility to give prospective pharmacy technicians the opportunity to gain experience at our pharmacy.
Our team is here to serve you as best as possible. Please feel free to ask us for advice. You can do this at the counter, or you can make an appointment with one of our pharmacy technicians.
